Pieve Al Toppo
The ancient Church, consists of a hospital that gave attention to the pilgrims, which have the first historical starting from 938, placed at the point of encounter between the Via Cassia to end and the old road to Siena, becoming an alternative route by land, to avoid the quagmire of Chiana. The parish church was destroyed during 1500, due to war, above which was later built an oratory, still existing dedicated to Our Lady of Conforto.
